Varun Dhawan's latest release, Badlapur has been working wonders at the Box Office ever since the film released. While the initial response at the counters was not that great, the word of mouth and fantastic reviews helped the film grow. And by now, it has been able to amass an amount of Rs.48.3 crores, becoming the second highest grosser of this year.
Despite being certified an 'A', the film has managed to do quite well, business wise. Badlapur has an ensemble case comprising Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak and Radhika Apte. The only other 2015 film that has fared better at the Box Office is Akshay Kumar's Baby, which has earned a whopping 95.5 crores.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Badlapur tells the tale of Raghu (essayed by Varun Dhawan), a man whose family is murdered, and the way the incident changes his entire life. Consumed by hatred and the will to avenge his family's murders, Raghu's life takes a strange turn.
